Border controls in Aachen: caught international criminals!

The Federal Police Aachen struck again! In the border controls carried out since September 16, several criminals are noticed. Among them is a 32-year-old Bulgarian who traveled to Germany via Autobahn 44. He was sought with an international arrest warrant after he was sentenced to nine months in Bulgaria for a narcotics offense. After his arrest, he was transferred to the Aachen police custody. Now the case stands for a judicial hearing before the district court in Aachen, while the decision about a possible delivery to Bulgaria is still pending.

A 30-year-old Romanian was also stopped on the A 44, who was convicted of six days for an enforcement or fine of 200 euros. She was able to avert her prison sentence by paying. In Tüddern, a 51-year-old Dutchman was stopped, who has seven search notes, among other things because of fraud and driving without a license. Since he was on the road without a driver's license and his vehicle was closed, he was prohibited from continuing and the vehicle with stolen license plates was confiscated.
