In the late Monday afternoon, a spectacular police operation triggers a stir at the Aachen-Zentrum motorway exit! A car with a Duisburg license plate should be stopped during a traffic control, but the driver could not be caught and raced away at 5:50 p.m. The police immediately started persecution and finally found the vehicle abandoned on the side strip.

The search for the fleeting driver, however, was unsuccessful: Despite intensive searches until around 8:30 p.m., the man was disappeared. Investigations by the police showed that the license plate of the car was stolen. Against the unknown is determined for traffic hazard and possibly further offenses.
