The Grand Prize of the Chio Aachen has captivated the riding world again. Andre Thieme and DSP Chakaria were able to assert themselves as the winner after an impressive jump -off. But Richard Vogel and United Touch S also performed strongly and took third place.
The exciting final was characterized by mistakes and scarce decisions. Four riders made it into the jump -off, including Andre Thieme and Richard Vogel from Germany. The struggle for victory was intense, but in the end it was Thieme who was ahead with his mare Chakaria. His brave ride and the precise turn to the decisive obstacle brought him the longed -for success.
Richard Vogel also performed strongly and narrowly missed the victory. Despite an error on the last obstacle, he was happy about third place. His disappointment was noticeable, but he showed size in the defeat and praised the performance of his horse.
The Aachen Grand Prix attracted a total of 40 riders on the course. Among them were also prominent names like Marcus Ehning and Christian Kukuk. Ehning, defending champion from the previous year, could not quite build on his performance this time and ended up in 14th place. Kukuk, on the other hand, showed a strong performance and took sixth place.
