federal police ends crime series with international cooperation
The past weekend marked an important success for the federal police in Aachen and the Heinsberg district. Several international and national arrest warrants have also been enforced, with a violent football supporter being prevented from entering.
A focus was on the cooperation at the UEFA EM 2024, whereby the federal police successfully cooperated with international partners. The campaign led to the arrest of several people who were sought because of serious crimes.
Among those arrested was a 48-year-old Bosnian-Herzegovinian citizen who was sought on the basis of illegal gun ownership. Another arrested, a 26-year-old Moroccan, was advertised in several European countries to arrest for participation in a criminal organization and armed robberies. In addition, other people who were sought because of various crimes were arrested.
This successful action underlines the effective cross -border cooperation to combat crime. The federal police consistently campaign for the security of the citizens and makes it clear that offenders will not find any refuge.
The refusal of entering the violent football support from the Netherlands shows that the federal police are determined to maintain public order and to ensure that events such as UEFA EM 2024 are safe and peaceful.
This successful action underlines the importance of international cooperation and the commitment of the federal police to combat crime.
