Warning of pickpockets: Federal Police informs travelers at the train station!
The federal police in Aachen raises the alarm! On this Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., two prevention officers will provide travelers at the main train station about the growing danger of pickpocketing, especially before the upcoming October holidays. In times of increased travel traffic, travelers have to pay particular attention to their valuables, because the "long fingers" are now particularly active!
The police give essential security tips: valuables should be worn in chest bags or belt pockets under the clothing, handbags are always closed and kept close to the body. Especially take care of the crowds when getting on or out and always have an eye on the luggage! In the event of theft, it is advised to reimburse the display immediately and to block stolen bank cards immediately. The Federal Police can be reached at any time at larger train stations and offers support via the hotline 0800 6 888 000.
