The planned bike paths along Monheimallee and Heinrichsallee are supposed to create more space for cyclists, while the strict guidelines of the Radscheid lead to controversial discussions. Do the new cycle paths really make sense if bicycle brackets and bike boxes that have already been built remain unused?

But not only road topics cause trouble in Aachen. The city has surprisingly withdrawn from the state model project "Quantity entry into daycare care" because the financing was not secured. This means that 20 people who should start care for children in August are now facing an uncertain future. The negligence of administration and politics in this area leads to shortened care times and restricted offers for families.
