Aalener Committee for Integration: Diversity as the key to participation!

In a festive ceremony, the new members of the Committee for Integration by Mayor Bernd Schwarzendorfer were welcomed. The committee, consisting of 21 people, including 11 municipal councils and 10 expert inhabitants, will deal with significant topics such as integration, participation and cultural diversity. Challenges such as the elimination of the state reception center in Ellwangen and the role of foreign specialists are at the top of the agenda.

In the first session, the members introduced themselves and discussed important aspects such as cultural -sensitive care in the context of demographic change and the networking of actors in integration work. With a balanced gender relationship and members with a variety of cultural backgrounds, including Turkish, Afghan and Ukrainian roots, the committee promises to reflect the cultural diversity of the city.
