Exchange with France: Students discover algae technology in Saint-Lô!
Saint-Lô, Frankreich - An exciting chapter in the exchange between the Schubart-Gymnasium Aalen and the Collège Lavalley in Saint-Lô, France! Pupils in grades 8 and 9 have been traveling to Saint-Lô every two years for over 30 years to deepen their French skills. During their stay, they are housed in French host families, take part in class and experience numerous exciting events and excursions. A highlight of this exchange was a visit to the JRS Algaia research and development center, where the students researched innovative products from sea algae.
The Rosenberger JRS plant fiber technology group, which is based in Saint-Lô, offers the exchange students the opportunity to experience the manufacturing process up close. In the application laboratories, even in functional attempts, they were able to discover the fascinating secrets of algae -based products that are used in modern industry as essential functional substances. Is that the beginning of a promising researcher career at JRS? For more information, see the current report www.schwaebische.de .
