Drama on the B19: Motorists crashed into sheep flocks - 13 animals dead!

On Tuesday evening there was a dramatic collision on the B19 near Königsbronn: a 22-year-old driver collided with a herd of sheep that suddenly crossed the street. Despite his attempts, a total of 13 sheep were run over, while 15 animals survived. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when the driver's Hyundai could no longer stop in time.

After the collision, the federal road was immediately closed, while the road maintenance department hurried to the scene of the accident and set up a detour. A towing service took care of the damaged vehicle, which was no longer ready to drive. The total damage is estimated at around 13,000 euros, while the police informed the shepherd who took care of the surviving animals.
