fire of a thujahecke in Langenburg

On Friday afternoon, an unpleasant incident was created in Langenburg that could be too well known: a 51-year-old hobby gardener wanted to remove weed with a Bunsen burner in front of his garage. The neighbor of the neighbor about five meters long caught fire. Despite all the efforts of the garden lover to extinguish the fire, the Langenburg volunteer fire brigade with 17 emergency services and three vehicles was challenged to fought the fire professionally. The property damage incurred is estimated at around 1,000 euros. Such incidents illustrate how easy fires can occur when working with fire.

traffic accident escape at the Starkholzacher See

on the same day, but in the evening, another incident occurred in Schwäbisch Hall. A 93-year-old driver of a Skoda tried around 5:55 p.m. to drive to the Gipsmühle parking lot on Lake Starkholzacher. However, this project fed significantly: the senior first touched a BMW, then scratched the entire left side of his own vehicle on a small tree and finally bounced down jerkily when he drove backwards. Instead of getting help, the driver just continued. The total damage amounts to around 6,500 euros. It should be noted that such traffic accidents repeatedly indicate the importance of a responsible driving style.

joint teachings from the incidents

The two incidents in Langenburg and Schwäbisch Hall illustrate how important are mindfulness and a sense of responsibility both when dealing with fire and in road traffic. Especially in the case of leisure activities and in old age, security measures should always be in the foreground to avoid accidents and damage.

community engagement and sensitization

It is essential that the community learns from such events and, if necessary, provides information about the safe handling of fuels and driving in old age. In the past, the volunteer fire brigade has repeatedly emphasized how significant training courses are to correctly deal with fire. In addition, information events for older drivers could be helpful to ensure that they can move safely in road traffic.
