Jackensammel campaign in Aalen: great interest in the needy!

Aalen, Deutschland - In Aalen, the fundraising campaign "Haste a jacket for Lars" celebrated a successful start. Last Saturday, numerous people flocked to the club home of Post SV in Röthardt and brought around 600 jackets as well as 100 sleeping bags and numerous hats. Lars Eigenbrodt, initiator of the campaign, was pleased with the overwhelming response and experience of his team, which efficiently sorted and managed the donations: "This time everything went faster than before," says Eigernbrodt.

The campaign not only attracted attention locally; People from surrounding cities, such as Bopfingen, also came to help. A big thank you goes to the Papier Geiger company, which provided 80 moving boxes. Eigenbrodt, however, emphasizes that only jackets, hats and sleeping bags can be accepted in order to cope with logistics: "Some have also brought other textiles with them, which we unfortunately cannot accept," he explains. The next collection campaign will take place on Saturday, October 19, in the Ulrich Pfeifle-Halle im Greut, parallel to a judo tournament.
