Creative future: Youth designed children's play area in the Job Center Aalen
In the JobCenter Aalen, something very special happened: A committed youth project has successfully designed a children's play area that is both creative and functional. The idea was launched by Thomas Koch, the head of the Ostalbkreis job center. This should not only create a place for children, but also a platform for young people to demonstrate their skills.
The implementation of the project was placed in the hands of the participants of a program funded by the job center. Silvia Ritter, who acts as a systemic consultant and workshop manager, headed for the creative workshops and emphasized the importance of the pedagogical approach. "The young people should take the planning design of the children's play area themselves. They were able to develop their creativity and develop skills such as teamwork, solution -oriented thinking and self -reflection," she said.
a creative process
The project not only forced the design of the physical space, but also the personal development of young people. They asked themselves important questions: "What should a children's play area look like?", "What needs do children have?" And "What experiences from our own childhood shape us to this day?" With the help of art therapy accompaniment, the participants were encouraged to deal with their own childhood memories, to question their own beliefs and to convert them into positive beliefs. This reflects proves to be valuable for the entire development and promotes self -confidence.
An effective result of these creative efforts was the development of a child-friendly version of the famous "Ulm stool". This piece of furniture is a well -known design object created by Max Bill, Hans Gugelot and Paul Hildinger in 1954. The child -friendly replica of the stool shows how the young people could understand and adapt the design principles to create something unique.
The official handover of the newly designed children's play corner took place in the Job Center Aalen, where Thomas Koch accepted the furniture with gratitude. Together with his colleagues, he praised the excellent work that the young people did. The room will now not only serve the visitors of the job center, but also as a place where children can play while their parents take care of important matters.
This project is an excellent example of how young people can develop their skills in a practical context. It shows that creative approaches and the shaping of rooms not only serve an immediate need, but can also have a long -term positive effect on the young people themselves. Such initiatives contribute to creating a supporting environment and emphasizing the value of creative and social development.
