Shock calls in Aalen: Fraudsters fail, play explains!
The police in Aalen again warns of the brazen "shock calls", in which fraudsters specify that relatives are involved in a serious traffic accident. These fraudulent calls are primarily aimed at paying high deposits on senior citizens who are put under pressure to avert a prison sentence. Despite the widespread information about these stitches, many people still fall for it. In the past few days there has been an accumulation of such calls in the Aalen area, but the perpetrators failed in this specific case.
In order to better sensitize the population and clarifying about these fraudulent practices, a play entitled "Hello Grandma, I need money" will be listed on October 29 in the district office of the Ostalb district. This creative project, which is organized by Margot Wagner and the district senior council, not only offers a performing component, but also provides valuable information on prevention. The theater experts from Stuttgart, who design the performance, regularly adapt the piece to current fraud stitches to comprehensively clarify the viewers and to help them protect themselves from such attacks.
