In the recent days in the Rems-Murr district, numerous incidents have caused excitement and concern. From vandalism to traffic accidents to a house fire, everything was there. During this turbulent week there were various topics in the focus of the police, which has now initiated various investigations.
A particularly strange incident occurred early Sunday morning when a Dixi toilet was reported on the forest road in Schelmenholz. The police quickly went on the spot and could clarify the situation by pushing the toilet aside and thus releasing the road again. Such curious reports can sometimes cause unwanted disorders in traffic, but luckily the incident could be quickly remedied.
traffic accidents and escape
In the Ringstrasse in Fellbach, an unknown vandale scratched the painting of a parked Seat between Saturday and Sunday and left damage to property of around 1000 euros. The Fellbach police station is looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrator.
Another escape of the accident occurred in a parking lot on Hegnacher Strasse, where a road user damaged a parked Renault when parking and then turned out of the dust. The damage is estimated at around 2000 euros. A Mercedes was similar in Theodor-Heuss-Straße, which was hit on Sunday morning between midnight and 10:30 a.m. Here the damage amounts to around 1500 euros.
In Winnenden, a properly parked Citroen was damaged when parking, but the driver removed from the scene of the accident. Here, too, the police ask for information from possible witnesses.
Three accidents that the police have employed clearly show how quickly there can be incidents on the streets. The circumstances and the defenselessness of the drivers raise questions. Does such incidents occur due to poor attention or pure negligence?
fire in the house and injuries by disputes
On Saturday morning there was a fire in the basement of a residential building in Auenwald. The cause of the fire is still unclear, but it became known that gas heating went up in flames, which led to property damage of around 50,000 euros. The fire brigade had to move with a large contingent of seven vehicles and 41 emergency services to extinguish the fire. The police investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
Another serious incident occurred in Backnang when a dispute between two men on Grabenstrasse escalated in the early Sunday morning. A 20-year-old who provoked his 35-year-old opponent injured him with a knife. The police were able to arrest the perpetrator quickly and initiate a corresponding investigation.
In addition, slightly injured motorcyclists were registered, who had further traffic accidents in Althütte and Backnang. This starts the discussion about safer driving practices in the target group of motorcyclists.
The police now draw attention to the numerous traffic accidents and wonder how often there must be similar incidents until preventive measures are seriously considered. Citizens are urgently asked to be attentive and take responsibility in order to minimize such incidents.
