Herry discovery: 2 men burned by the lake in Rhineland-Palatinate!
In a shocking crime, two brutally burned corpses were discovered near the popular lake Rodder Maar near Niederdürenbach on Sunday morning. The victims, a 61-year-old from Rockenhausen and a 28-year-old from Altenkirchen, showed the most serious injuries, which indicates massive violence. The police arrested two alleged perpetrators: a 51-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from the Ahrweiler district. A arrest warrant was issued against them due to joint killing. They are said to have transported and burned the corpses to the lake to cover up their crime.
The identity of the dead was initially unclear because the corpses were burned to the unknown. After the discovery on October 20, the investigation ran at full speed. The Koblenz public prosecutor announced that the suspects and the victims knew each other, but the motive has so far remained unknown. The police are faced with the challenge of clarifying further details and asks for information from the population, while the two arrested people are now in custody.
