Unusual discovery on the A9: Mann (34) perceives the smell of fire
A remarkable incident recently occurred on the A9 towards Nuremberg when a 34-year-old man from Greding suddenly perceived a smell of fire in his vehicle. This unexpected perception prompted him to stop his car shortly before the Denkendorf junction, as reported by the Ingolstadt traffic police.
When the fire brigade was called to support, they found that the cause of the smell was a broken rubber seal in the area of the exhaust. Together with 18 emergency services, the fire brigade checked the vehicle and decided to bring the car to the commuter car park.
Thanks to the rapid reaction of the 34-year-old man, worse could be prevented, and nobody was injured in the incident. The collaboration between the driver and the rescue workers once again shows how important it is to be attentive and, in case of doubt, to act immediately to remove potential dangers.
The events on the A9 motorway illustrate the importance of quick action and attention in road traffic. It shows that supposedly small incidents should be taken seriously to prevent major damage.
