The school world in the district of Aichach-Friedberg experiences an exciting change. Julia Trinkwalder-Fend, the rector of the Bobingen middle school, will take on a new position at the middle school in Kissing from August 1st. This change comes in Bobingen after only one year, which is important for both drinking forest and school.
Return to home

The challenge in Kissing
In Kissing you can expect a special task: the school's digital transformation. Kissing is part of a project to the digital school of the future, and the use of tablets in the seventh and eighth classes will play a central role. "I'm looking forward to the challenge of digitization," says Trinkwalder-Fend and emphasizes the need to find a balance between the latest technology and traditional lessons.
Farewell and gratitude
For the Mittelschule Bobingen, the farewell of her rector is an emotional matter. Trinkwalder-Fend goes with "a crying eye" because the college and school life in Bobingen were dynamic and alive. Her time here was short, and the headmistress plans to say goodbye to the pupils on Wednesday after the service at the end of the school year.
Future developments
In the transition period, the successor to Trinkwalder-Fend at the Bobingen middle school is sought. This position has been advertised since the end of April and the government of Swabia has already received applications. In August it is decided who takes over the management of the school.
The school community in Kissing can look forward to a committed principal who not only wants to shape the digital future, but also the advantages of the cafeteria that offers homemade food. The change has both opportunities and challenges and is an exciting chapter in the region's educational landscape.
