Terrible traffic accident in Friedberg: three injuries and B3 closed!

In Friedberg, two serious traffic accidents occurred on October 8, in which several people were injured. Initially, there was a dramatic collision on the B 457 at 4:40 p.m. when a 42-year-old driver got on oncoming traffic with his BMW X3. The impact between his vehicle and a 54-year-old BMW driver meant that both drivers had to be taken to the hospital seriously injured. A 61-year-old woman who drove in a Mercedes also suffered injuries. The total damage amounts to around 86,000 euros. The police are urgently looking for witnesses to the accident to collect further information.

around 6:05 p.m. there were further traffic disruptions on the B3 after a 59-year-old Audi driver from Ranstadt had also got on oncoming traffic. The collision with a Ford led to mild injuries to the Ford driver, while the Audi driver was in a critical condition and had to be taken to the hospital using a rescue helicopter.
