A tragic event shakes the Bavarian city of Fürth: During a church consecration, a 31-year-old man was hit by a carousel and later declared dead in the hospital. The incident occurred on the festival site on Sunday evening when the man tried to get a lost shoe from the chassis of the carousel.

The ride turned from top to bottom as a circle when a passenger lost its shoe. The 31-year-old decided to climb the carousel frame to bring the shoe back. Unfortunately, at that moment it was recorded and squeezed by the moving structure.

First aiders were able to free the man after stopping the carousel and immediately start with the resuscitation. Despite their quick action and transport to a hospital, the man's life -threatening injuries suffered. The police then initiated an investigation against the operator of the driving business because there is a suspicion of negligent killing.

This sad event shows how quickly a moment of carelessness can have tragic consequences. It serves as a reminder to everyone to respect the safety regulations at public events and not to take risks lightly.
