Trickdieb in Dachau: wife stolen by 100 euros - police are looking for witnesses

seniors in Dachau are victims of a refined trick theft

In Dachau, an unfortunate incident recently occurred, in which a trick thief exploited the good faith of an 89-year-old man. The unknown spoke to the seniors in Mittermayerstrasse and asked him to change money. Since the older gentleman had no cash with him, he offered the man to accompany him home.

Arrived at home, in the staircase of a residential complex in Reinhold-Langenberger-Weg, the wife of the elderly could help the unknown to change money. But at an unobserved moment, the skillful thief managed to steal around 100 euros from the senior's wallet while holding him in her hand. The couple only noticed the theft in retrospect when the thief was already over all mountains.

The Dachau police have taken up the investigation and urgently asks for evidence of witnesses who have observed something suspicious. The perpetrator is described as male, about 1.70 meters tall, about 40 years old and of strong stature. He spoke broken German and wore black clothes at the time of the crime.

Such nefarious acts against vulnerable members of the company warn as caution in dealing with strangers and illustrate the need to remain attentive and recognize potential dangers in order to protect themselves and others from such criminal acts. - nag
