The smallest villages in Baden-Württemberg: Insider tips for powers visitors
The ten smallest villages in the state in Baden-Württemberg were presented, including the undisputed smallest village of Böllen, which only counts 98 residents. Despite a loss of six inhabitants, Böllen remains at the top of this special list. In second place is Emeringen with 168 inhabitants, which has grown by 36 residents in the past 15 years without losing its charming character. The idyllic Tunau with 184 inhabitants and the lively proximity to breathtaking waterfalls also scores. Börlingen is barely over this with 187 inhabitants, followed by Guggenhausen (192), Unterwachingen (198) and Wörnersberg (204). The six smallest villages impressively show how contemplative and calm life in the southern German provinces can be.
