Ulm celebrates 490 new champions: craft for the future strongly positioned!

In a festive setting, 490 new masters of the Ulm Chamber of Crafts received their master's certificate. These highly qualified specialists, who are now recognized internationally as "Bachelor Professional", have passed exams in numerous trades. Among the 86 vehicle technicians also stand out 66 carpenters, 47 electrical engineers and 41 master hairdressers. Katja Maier, President of the Chamber of Crafts, praised her achievements and encouraged her to actively shape her future in the craft

The championship title not only opens doors to potential company foundations - every third graduate takes the step into self -employment within the first five years. In the coming years, many companies will also be handed over, which creates new opportunities for the new masters. In order to increase the attractiveness of the championship title, the Chamber of Crafts calls for an increase in the master premium of currently 1,500 euros in order to reduce the financial burden for future masters.
