In the Görlitzer Park in Berlin-Kreuzberg, a drama of crimes and drugs unfolds every day. The park, an over 14 hectare area, is a center of crime with terrifying numbers: between January and September 2024, 909 crimes were registered here, while almost 9,000 offenses took place in the surrounding quarter, reported bz-berlin.de . A current incident that began on August 19, 2024 is now captivating the jurisdiction-the 'backpack theft' in a park toilet and the subsequent street battle attract attention.

At the center of the procedure are the accused Mohammed L. and Hocni B., both involved in illegal activities. Mohammed, a 21-year-old Algerier, describes how he was involved in an argument when buying cocaine. He claims that the seller cheated on him, which led to the escalation of the situation. Hocni, 29 years old and a Moroccan origin, describes his own view of what is happening and states that his cracking consumption has taken him. The police were only able to arrest the two while the other participants fled. The judgment is expected on January 17th.
