Metal bar attacks in the snack bar: brutal blows and threats!

In a restaurant in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, there was a violent discussion on Wednesday evening. At around 7.30 p.m., a dispute broke out between several people on Rabensteiner Strasse. A 45-year-old man was dragged in front of the restaurant by unknown attackers and attacked with blows and kicks. The situation continued to escalate when a 38-year-old woman hit the victim on the back of the head with a metal rod. The reason for this brutal attack was apparently a previous insult, as the police announced, and everyone involved was under the influence of alcohol, as was shown when using rescue workers.

After the violent attack, the attackers initially left the scene. However, the 38-year-old returned with a fork shortly afterwards and threatened the wounded man and his wife to put their eyes out. Rescue workers brought the seriously injured 45-year-old to a hospital for outpatient treatment with head injuries. The police have used a specialist commissioner for further investigations into dangerous bodily harm, threat and insult, such as B.Z. reported.

brutality in public

Such incidents throw a light on the increasing willingness to violence in society. The term "kebab murder", which was shaped in connection with a similar incident, is the result of growing awareness of violent crimes and is now regarded as an impartial of the year. This illustrates the problem that many incidents in public are discussed not only because of their severity, but also on the basis of social prejudices and polarization. In this regard, Der Spiegel detailed about the reactions and the social context of such violent acts.
