Army escalated in Kotteritz: man seriously injured, perpetrator on the run!

In the early morning hour of October 3, 2024, around 5:15 a.m., a dispute escalated in Kotteritz and the police were alerted. The argument involved several people and quickly developed into an aggressive confrontation in which a 26-year-old man intervened. Tragically, he was attacked by three attackers, aged 21, 24 and 28,, physically injured, insulted and even spat on.

The attackers fled after the incident, but one of them could be identified by name. The injured 26-year-old had to be taken to the hospital due to his injuries. The Altenburg police have already started investigations to clarify the background of the brutal attack.
