In mammelzen, a traffic accident occurred on Friday evening, which led two people slightly injured and considerable property damage to the vehicles involved. A 37-year-old driver turned to the left to the federal road 256 towards Altenkirchen from an access to the left. The collision with another vehicle came from the direction of Eichelhardt and was also traveling towards Altenkirchen.

The two occupants of the second vehicle, a 43-year-old driver and a 9-year-old child, suffered minor injuries. Fortunately, they were able to leave the hospital after medical care. The rescue workers and the police from Altenkirchen were on site to accept the accident and regulate traffic.

The property damage caused by the vehicles is still being checked, but considerable costs are assumed. The exact cause of the accident is also determined to clarify who is responsible for the collision.
