Marriage celebrated in Perach: 23 couples celebrate 670 years of love and anecdotes

In the parish of Perach in the Altötting district, the traditional celebration of the marriage anniversary was recently held, to which all couples were invited who celebrate a marriage anniversary this year. Of the 23 invited couples who can look together at impressive 670 years of marriage, however, only nine couples took part, whose time together is 300 years.

Pastor Ludwig Samereier enriched the celebration with humorous anecdotes from the past, including an amusing story about how a fisherman once “fished” his wife. This celebration is an integral part of the municipality's annual cycle, and the weak interest shows that not all jubilees take part in this special occasion.
