Traditional commemoration: Soldiers celebrate honor in the Raffner Alm

Raffner Alm, Deutschland - The commemoration for the deceased soldiers of the mountain air defense took place for the second time this year at the picturesque Raffner Alm. Numerous reservists, relatives and friends from the Traunstein districts, Berchtesgadener Land, Mühldorf, Altötting and Rottal-Inn gathered to commemorate their fallen comrades. The speeches by the club chairman Sepp Randlinger, who himself served as a soldier, was particularly moving.

In the emotional commemoration of the dead, the names of the deceased were presented on a poster, while musical contributions from a wind quartet accompanied the ceremony. Lieutenant Colonel A.D. Erwin Wudke and Ludwig Gschwendner from the Teisendorf reservist comradeship contributed to the ceremonial atmosphere. Finally, the song was tuned off by the good comrade and the Bavaria anthem, before Randlinger gave the most popular guests, the family of the recently deceased Lieutenant Colonel Armin Bals, a bouquet of flowers.
