Kelheim celebrates: Spitzlmarkt brings diversity and delicacies back!

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the old town of Kelheim shines in full shine with the traditional Spitzlmarkt! From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., around 110 stand operators invite you to browse through a colorful range of goods. From regional delicacies to artisanal products - there is something for every taste! A highlight are the popular “Spitzl”, which are offered in office in local bakeries and cafés, and which are very popular with young and old.

The physical well -being is also taken care of: numerous snack bars spoil the guests with hearty and sweet dishes. And the best? The experienced knife and scissor grinder Harald Welzel is back on site and sharpens everything a blade has- from kitchen knife to the garden unit. A must for everyone who appreciates fresh sounds! But be careful: Due to the market, the entire city center of Kelheim is closed on Wednesday, October 30 from 8:00 p.m. to Thursday, October 31 to 8:00 p.m. Parking in these areas is prohibited, and vehicles parked illegally are towed.
