Flowering community: Herbgarten Pittersberg receives a special price!

The Pittersberg gardening association celebrated new successes at its annual general meeting! In the festive setting, which began with a thanksgiving service in the Nikolauskirche, secretary Jürgen Damm pointed to the proud 61 members and three honorary members. The events such as "winter magic" and the herb garden kirwa not only inspire the local community, but also numerous visitors from outside.

For its outstanding commitment, the association received a special price of 300 euros from the Amberg-Sulzbach district, thanks to its popular herb garden with over 100 plants and the promotion of biodiversity through so-called "wild corners". In addition, the establishment of a children's and youth group aged eight to 15 is due to inspire the youngest for gardening. The second mayor Johann Vornloch praised the valuable work, while plans for the redesign of the village pond and the construction of a device scalist are forged.
