CSU delegate assembly in Altmannshof: A full success

The CSU Amberg-Sulzbach's delegate meeting took place last weekend, to which the district chairman Harald Schwartz had invited to Altmannshof. Despite the summer temperatures, over 200 members, including 182 delegates, filled the hall and ensured an impressive atmosphere.

Civil commitment in times of disenchantment with politics

Harald Schwartz emphasized the importance of engagement in the middle of society, especially in times when political disenchantment is a frequently discussed topic. The strong appearance of the members shows that the CSU is still a relevant political force in the region.

Clear rejection of extremism

In his speech, Schwartz gave extremist approaches a clear rejection and emphasized the obligation of the CSU to politics for people. Hate and agitation are not solutions, according to the member of the state parliament, and called on to focus on the real challenges such as demographic development, migration policy and economic policy.

The importance of citizen participation

also the member of the Bundestag Susanne Hierl underlined the importance of citizen participation in her contribution. As a representative on site, she takes the concerns and problems of the people seriously, who are often neglected by the federal government. Topics such as the deletion of grants or missing tax reforms are major challenges that should not be ignored.

Democratic choice of delegates

Under the direction of the Federal Circle Chair Patrick Fröhlich, 60 delegates were unanimously elected, who together with other delegates will determine the direct candidate of the CSU in the Amberg Federal Options. The meeting was therefore not only a strong sign of the commitment and diversity of the CSU members, but also an important democratic step in the political development of the region.
