The redesign of the district road required an investment of around 3.7 million euros, of which around 1.15 million euros come from the district's own contribution. These financial resources flowed into measures that not only expanded the road width from 6 to 8 meters, but also created a roundabout at the confluence with the state road Amberg-Hirschau.
