Mausbergfest: Young people celebrate the service full of passion
Mausbergfest: Young people celebrate the service full of passion
in the tranquil environment of Mausberg, near Givingbach, a lively festival is coming to an end. This event, which not only brings together local communities, but also appeals to the younger generation, has attracted numerous visitors in recent days. It is a time when tradition and modern youth culture meet.
The young people play an active role in the design of the service, which gives the event a fresh and dynamic atmosphere. Under the warm direction of Rita Butz, they sang and recited songs and texts that come from the heart and strengthen the spiritual connection. This participation not only shows your commitment, but also a successful attempt to experience and pass on faith and community.
program points of the festival week
The celebrations of the weekend offer a varied program that includes both spiritual and social aspects. The day of the clubs and associations is on the agenda on Saturday. At 9:30 a.m. the Eucharistic celebration is led by parish vicar Christian Preida. A special children's word service is planned for the little visitors, which begins at 4 p.m., and for all adults there is a service with a Vice Dean Thomas Helm from St. Martin in Amberg at 6 p.m. Here the men's singing clubs from Gabenbach and Ursul Pope Codes will perform musically and the associations of the parish community will be represented with their flags.
But the grand finale of the festival week takes place on Sunday: from 8 a.m. the faithful can use the possibility of confession. The Eucharistic celebration follows at 8:30 a.m. before the festival service takes place at 10 a.m. Deacon Dieter Gerstacker will keep the sermon and delight everyone present with a project choir from the parish of St. Martin Givingbach and the Ursul Pope church choir musically. As a highlight, the graduation service at 4 p.m. is celebrated by the native of GENBACHER Martin Schöpf, who works in his function as a pastor in the parish community of Michelsneukirchen and Schorndorf. In this special service, the popular folkoristic group of Stuber-Moidln, which has almost become a tradition at the celebrations, will also sing.
young people as pride and hope of the community
The words of the diocesan youth chaplain Matthias Strätz during the youth service resonated deeply in the hearts of those present. With his call to be a "witness of love", he encouraged the young people to bear their message to the outside world. It turns out that the festive occasions not only serve the entertainment, but are also a way to actively live and pass on the faith. The momentum and enthusiasm of the young people bring a new energy into the fast -moving world in which we live.
Finally, it can be stated that the festival week on the Mausberg is far more than a mere celebration: it represents a contemporary and significant event in which the community comes together, new connections are linked and young people can develop their role in the church. When the weekend comes to an end, the hope remains that this tradition will continue in the future and will attract more visitors next time.
