Bakery Graf in Ammerland opens again after a long closure!

Ammerland, Deutschland - The bakery and pastry shop Graf in Ammerland reopened on March 1, 2025 after around half a year. Regina and Hubert Graf, together with their son Franz and specialist seller Heidi Dulner, lead the traditional business that has existed for 120 years. Franz Graf, 26 years old, is a confectioner and master baker and takes over the business from his parents.

The bakery will offer fresh rolls, pretzels, bread, cakes and regional specialties. An innovative concept brings products from regional providers such as eggs, pasta, jam and schnapps. Grill meat products are also planned in summer. In order to save personnel, the Graf bakery will no longer supply other companies.

popular location for "Hubert without Staller"

The Graf bakery is known as the location for the ARD series "Hubert without Staller". On certain montages, the café is used as a "Rattlinger bakery" for filming. The opening on March 1 was accompanied by the Beuerberg pasta workshop, which sold homemade pasta. The opening times are on Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sundays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The decision to close in the past six months came in the face of the challenging circumstances in the bakery trade. Many bakeries are faced with the problem of finding and keeping qualified staff. The Ammerlander bakery Graf in Münsing opened until Saturday before the closure and was a central scene of the ARD crime series. In a previous report, Regina Graf expressed that it is considering the company, however, plans to reopen if there is enough personnel, such as the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.
