Bakery Graf in Ammerland: reopening according to a lack of staff!
The bakery and pastry shop Graf in Ammerland reopened on March 1, 2025 after a closure of about half a year. The operators are Regina and Hubert Graf as well as their son Franz and specialist seller Heidi Dulner. Franz Graf, who is 26 years old and as a confectioner and master baker takes over the business from his parents, has developed a new concept that includes both employees from the old team and new employees.
The bakery, which was closed due to lack of staff, offers a range of fresh rolls, pretzels, bread, cakes and regional specialties. Products include eggs, pasta, egg liqueur, jam, schnapps, sausages, yogurt and cheese from regional providers. In summer, the bakery is also planning to sell grill meat products.
New location and ARD-Resthort
The Graf bakery no longer supplies other companies to save personnel. The bakery is also known as the location for the ARD series "Hubert without a Staller", whereby the café regularly becomes the "Rattlinger bakery" in the series. The shooting days are secret and take place on Mondays when the bakery has a rest day.
The reopening on March 1 was celebrated with homemade pasta by the Beuerberg pasta workshop and other surprises. The opening times are on Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sundays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Graf bakery looks back on a long Tradition and has existed for 120 years, whereby the Graf family has been doing business for 40 years.
