New gastronomy highlight: Sails in the ZSK enchants Bad Zwischenahn!

Bad Zwischenahn, Deutschland - On April 23, 2025, the opening of a new catering business was announced in the Zwischenahner Segelklub (ZSK). The restaurant bears the name "Sails in the ZSK" and is the successor to the previous company "Juister". The operators Thomas Wissmann and Karina LY are supported by Managing Director Kevin Brenden. The old operator, Kim Ahrends, and Claudia Groen, gave up at the end of January 2023 for health reasons.

Kevin Brenden already brings experience as a counter in the "Juister". The menu was also revised with the opening of "Sails in the ZSK". The focus is now on fish dishes, and there is an extended beverage menu that also includes cocktails. The warm kitchen is offered longer in the evening, and new types of beer from the barrel are available, including Radeberger, Oberndorfer Helles and Castles. Popular classics such as fricadels, currywurst and Fish & chips remain on offer.

The new restaurant offers its guests a look over the harbor at the Zwischenahner Meer. During the high season, the club members and external guests are almost equally represented. Kevin Brenden, who lives with his family in the region, estimates the location of the restaurant. Thomas Wissmann, who has experience as a captain on big yachts and passenger ships, also operates a company to advise ship owners. He plans to concentrate fully on the "Sails in the ZSK" and at the same time to stay as an expert for sports boats.
