Autohaus employee from Anhalt-Bitterfeld: 45,000 euros was on the net!
Anhalt-Bitterfeld, Deutschland - An employee of an car dealership from the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district was cheated at the car purchase at the end of September. On September 23, he discovered a website with several VW vehicles and transferred around 45,000 euros for the agreed documents. Shortly afterwards, the employee wanted to order further vehicles, but found that the documents were incomplete. When calling the supposed provider, he became painfully aware that he had become the victim of fraud in a well-disguised fake shop.
The police reported that this fake shop was imitating a real car dealership and difficult to recognize at first glance. The employee filed a complaint with the police on October 22nd. In order to avoid such fraud, the investigators recommend researching online beforehand and using secure payment methods. Further details on this incident are in an article by www.volksstimme.de to be found.
