Exploded gas prices: Households in Saxony-Anhalt have to pay that much!

With the approach of autumn and falling temperatures, the heating season begins in Saxony-Anhalt, and that means a violent price shock for consumers at the same time! The gas costs have exploded in recent years, which has led to a drastic increase in heating costs. The south circles of the federal state are particularly affected and have to dig deeper into their pockets than the regions in the north, as current numbers of Verivox shows.

The prices for a four- to five-member family, which consumes 20,000 kilowatt hours annually, vary enormously: In the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel, for example, families have to pay 1,960 euros, while they are a whopping 2,847 euros in the more expensive Anhalt-Bitterfeld! For comparison: Before the Corona pandemic, the price in Anhalt-Bitterfeld was still 1,351 euros-an enormous increase! The differences can be explained, among other things, by the type of gas procurement of regional providers, whereby Kluge buyer can currently pass on a rich savings to their customers.
