Tragic accident on the B246: cyclist dies after a collision with motorcyclist

Saxony-Anhalt: Cyclists fatally injured between Reuden and Nedlitz

A tragic traffic accident occurred on the federal road 246 between Reuden and Nedlitz, in which a cyclist was fatally injured. The police started the investigation to clarify the exact course of the accident.

In the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district, the incident occurred in which a 65-year-old cyclist was involved. He drove the street on a Saturday when the accident happened.

Motorcyclist loses control of vehicle

A motorcyclist skidned in a curve and collided with the oncoming cyclist. The 65-year-old suffered serious injuries and later died in the hospital from the consequences of the accident.

The 60-year-old motorcyclist suffered minor injuries to the collision. The exact cause of the loss of control over the vehicle is still being examined.
