On September 21, the fire brigade in Ansbach will open its doors and invite you to the “Fire Brigade Day”. From 3 p.m. all interested parties are cordially invited to visit the fire brigade at Eyber Straße 18. On this special day, visitors can look forward to a colorful and exciting program that combines both informative and entertaining elements.

This year's motto, which is presented as part of the Bavarian Fire Brigade Action Week, reads: "Use your strengths. Changing your world." The fire brigade would like to raise awareness that every person has individual strengths and talents that are valuable and can contribute to the benefit of the community. This message reveals the commitment that the fire brigade has to encourage people to become active themselves and bring their skills into account.

This year special attention is paid to modern technologies. During the event, the drone group of the Ansbach fire brigade will demonstrate live on how to use drones for the situation exploration and rescue in operations. These technologies not only offer innovative approaches in operational management, but also show visitors the exciting possibilities that technical aids offer in fire service.

At the event, the participants can also take part in virtual training. This innovative training of the emergency services enables visitors to gain a deep insight into the challenges and tasks of the fire brigade through interactive simulations. In addition, there is a vehicle show in which various emergency vehicles can be viewed up close. There will be an informative stations that convey fire brigade knowledge in an understandable way. The technical relief organization (THW) will also be represented with a stand to present its work and equipment.
