Citizens' Foundation Treptow-Köpenick: Festive celebration for the 11th birthday!

The community foundation Treptow-Köpenick celebrated its 11th birthday with a colorful festival in the Adlershof forum on November 5, 2024. At this celebration, which was made possible by the friendly support of the Wista Management company, the foundation looked back on an extremely successful year in which 30 volunteer projects were funded. A very special highlight of the evening was the official announcement by Matthias Große, who gave the foundation its own “foundation day” at the Müggelturm. The celebration also offered musical entertainment by Torsten Riemann, while Proculinaria took care of the physical well -being with mulled wine and dishes. In addition to the celebrations, the community foundation announced that it will also be actively present in the neighborhood in 2025 to further promote voluntary work. Next weekend, from December 13th to 15th, 2024, the foundation will be represented again on the Christmas island in front of Köpenick Castle. There, the citizens have the opportunity to find out more about the work of the foundation and to actively support them by donating. The community foundation clearly sets a sign of social cohesion in the district and invites everyone to be part of this valuable work.
