The need for nurses increases: Why generalistics is not sufficient and alternative training paths are required

The training figures in nursing, which were recently published by the Federal Statistical Office, raise questions and show the challenges that the industry is facing. According to Bernd Meurer, the president of the Federal Association of President of Private Providers of Social Services (BPA), the great loser of generalistics, according to Bernd Meurer.

Meurer expressed his concern that the training numbers in nursing almost stagnate and this is considered a success. In view of the increasing need for nurses and the fact that more nursing staff will retire in the near future, the need for dynamic growth in training is there. According to Meurer, the generalistic cannot do this.

Independent nursing training has shown in the past ten years that it could enable growth of over 60 percent. This impressive increase is now painful. The small number of only 100 people who have chosen more specific training in geriatric care is particularly worrying. This shows that important groups, such as those who want to continue training, have been smelled.

The BPA therefore calls for an ideological review of the training and effective measures to faster international nurses. It is important that training in nursing meets the needs and challenges of the industry to ensure high -quality care for those in need of care.

The training numbers in nursing are of great importance for the future of the industry. They not only show the current status, but also throw a light on the trends and challenges with which care is confronted. It is essential that these numbers are critically analyzed to take effective measures to strengthen care training.
