Leonardo Hotels honors the graduates of the company's own academy

The Leonardo Hotels recently celebrated the successful completion of the annual career development programs of their Academy. The Academy serves as a training and training center for the employees of the hotel chain and specifically promotes its professional skills and knowledge. The graduates were honored at a solemn graduation event at the Hotel Berlin Köpenick by Leonardo Hotels on July 22, 2024. The company is proud that 86 employees from Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic have successfully participated in the intensive 18-month further training programs.

The Academy concept includes various training sessions, workshops and project work for various target groups. The participants are supported in developing their skills and promoting their career. This year the graduates worked on projects for inclusive employee acquisition and avoiding plastic waste. These projects were presented in the Graduation Event before the management.

The Leonardo Academy has already trained 550 employees, including hotel managers, regional managers as well as specialists and young people. The company attaches great importance to the fact that its talents can develop their career within the company. The Leonardo Hotels are one of the fastest growing hotel groups in Europe and offer a wide range of opportunities for professional development.

In the graduation event, a leadership award was also awarded to an outstanding young guide. The winner received a voucher for the Summer School at Cornell University in New York. In addition, Samuel Koch, known from the television show "Wetten, dass?"

This year's graduation event of the Leonardo Hotels was under the motto change of perspective, inclusion and sustainability. The participants should accompany and inspire these topics in the coming months. The next round of the Academy programs starts in January 2025 and all Leonardo Hotels employees can apply for it.
