New footpath between Cité Foch and Steinbergpark planned!

A new footpath along the package trench is planned to establish an important connection between the Cité Foch residential area and the Steinberg Park. The approximately 250 meter long path is to be completed by mid -2026. The first designs are already in progress and will be presented to the public in early 2025. As

The new paths offer the residents of the Cité Foch the opportunity to get to the Steinberg Park safely and close to nature. The redesign also includes the option to move hiking trail 2 from its previous route via Nimrodtstrasse to the package grave. This planning is directly related to the creation of the new park and follows the goals of the development plan XX 277A.
