Aschaffenburg (Bavaria) - Shocking revelations in the courtroom: The respected cardiologist Bereket A. (53) has misused his patients in an terrible way! With compliments about "beautiful breasts" and suggestive studies, he abused the relationship of trust in his practice. On Monday he was back on trial - seven women had reported him!

Bereket A. was shown in ankle cuffs and admitted smaller: "I'm very sorry." But for the 34-year-old Nancy B., who had the courage to take the first step in 2021 and report it, he had no words from the apology. Her allegation: he exploited his power as a doctor for his sick fantasies. "He denied everything," says Nancy B., who has been very traumatized since the abuse.

particularly shocking: During a heart examination, Bereket A. brought Nancy B.'s arm against his penis and penetrated her with a finger. "I was paralyzed, couldn't defend myself," she reported later. For this act and another, he was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison on October 10, 2023. The case made headlines, which resulted in other victims.

The new serious allegations: On February 26, 2021, A. a pregnant woman (35) performed squats, supposedly to strengthen the connective tissue. But then he grabbed her hand and pushed her between his buttocks. A 57-year-old witness also reported that he reached into her underpants at lightning speed: "He penetrated me. I was completely shocked and wondered what had just happened."

Despite the numerous serious accusations and the loss of his license to practice, the wife continues to hold to him. "He lost everything except his wife," reported his defender Burkhard Benecken. The accused complained in court that he can no longer take care of his disabled child and that he will go into therapy. He continued to complain that his income of 15,000 euros has been lost and that his social life is ruined.

For the victims, however, the consequences are more serious. Nancy B. revealed that she suffered a premature birth due to the trauma and can only sleep in a barricaded room. "I stood all alone at the beginning. Fortunately, more women dared to say something. The victims are not to blame for what happened," she told picture.

The tough judgment: four years and four months in prison for Bereket A. Richter Karsten Krebs made it clear: "It is inconceivable for me that they work as a doctor again in Germany!"
