After an exciting election evening in the Neustadter Saalbau, Denise Stripf was crowned for the 86th Palatinate Wine Queen. The evening was followed by tumultuous discussions about the removal of the traditional office by the Palatz Zwein e.V., which instead wanted to introduce a wine ambassador. After the public pressure, those responsible steered, which led to a compromise and finally made the choice take place. Denise prevailed against two other competitors who had previously qualified in a preliminary decision.

The outgoing Palatinate wine queen Charlotte Weihl presented Denise after the crown after she convinced the jury with her charm and wit during the blind tasting. As the new wine ambassador of the Palatinate winemakers, she will now perform at various events for a year, supported by the Palatinate wine princess Lara Karr and the Palatinate Wine Heaven Manuel Reuther.
