Denise Stripf will be new Palatinate wine queen - men fear for crown!
The 26-year-old Denise Stripf was crowned the new Palatinate wine queen and prevailed against a competitor and a male competitor in Neustadt/Weinstraße. As a social worker from Bad Dürkheim, she received the crown under the cheers of her supporters after a 70-person jury had decided on the 86th wine queen. The election had been greatly observed by the first competing of a man in the competition, but Manuel Reuther (28) had to make his claims on the title from Forst. Stripf succeeds Charlotte Weihl and will now represent the interests of the Palatinate for one year.
The car velocity election also stimulated discussions about the future of the title after considerations were made to rename him in "Pfalwebreifabadderin" or "Pfalverwein Ambassador". These considerations are now being pursued by a specialist round from around 20 representatives from the industry and politics. Stripf’s competition Lara Karr (23) also received a silver attachment and will accompany stripf as "sovereignty of wine".
