Young people because of murder of ex-girlfriend in Heidelberg
The shocking story of a young man in court
An 18-year-old man is on trial, charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend. The crime occurred in the joint school in St. Leon-Rot near Heidelberg. The process will take place before the Heidelberg district court and begins on Tuesday at 8.30 a.m.
The indictment states that the young man is said to have stabbed his classmate of the same age on January 25th with a meat knife. The tragic act took place in a lounge where the young woman died at the scene.
In addition to the murder, the accused is also accused of dangerous bodily harm due to an accident with an escape vehicle in Seesen, Lower Saxony. The alleged perpetrator fled to northern Germany after the student's death.
The 18-year-old is also accused of beating the later victim in November of the previous year after she wanted to separate from him. This act is seen as assault by the public prosecutor's office.
A special detail of the procedure is that it will take place in the exclusion of the public. Both the prosecution and the pronouncement of the judgment are affected by this regulation. The reason for this is that the accused was still a minor at the time of assault.
