Heidelberg University Hospital: World Class status despite 5th place in Germany!

The Heidelberg University Hospital has once again established itself as the top runner and occupies the impressive 15th place worldwide in the current ranking of the "World’s Best Hospitals" of the US Magazine Newsweek. It is the second best German clinic, only exceeded by the Charité in Berlin, which reaches the 6th place. The ranking is based on a comprehensive survey among over 85,000 medical experts as well as reviews of patient satisfaction, hygiene and patient doctor relationship.

In a national comparison, however, a different picture shows: In the list of the star magazine, the Heidelberg University Hospital is only 5. The medical reputation, which contributes significantly to the assessment, was examined in 40 specialist areas and represents a decisive factor for the placement of hospitals.
