International search: 46 women are looking for identity - help!
Hannover-Bothfeld, Deutschland - The international search campaign "Identify Me" is reinforced! Six European countries and interpoles ask for a total of 46 unexplained murder cases in which women have either been murdered or have died under suspicious circumstances. The initiative, which started in May 2023, aims to identify unknown victims. So far, around 1,800 information has been received, and now there are 25 new cases that come from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, as well as the newly participating countries of France, Italy and Spain.
Prominent supporters such as boxing world champion Regina Halmich and ZDF presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein encourage the public to look at the pictures of the victims and to provide information. So Müller-Hohenstein says: "The first successes are encouraging. Maybe you are exactly the person who can give the decisive hint." Details on the cases, including facial reconstructions and pictures of personal objects, are available on the interpol website. Every hint counts - the population is urgently asked to report to give the victims their identity.
